Nolte plays Graves, a former US President who decides to spend his life fixing the mistakes he made while in office after googling himself and discovering his legacy was appalling.  Streaming on EPIX, the show features several real-life politicians who make cameo appearances, like Rudolph Giuliani, Barney Frank and Michael Steele.  Nolte talked to the HFPA about his character.  “He’s taking action for all the things that he regrets in the past, but he’s not asking for redemption.  There’s nobody to give it to him anyway.”  Nolte has five Golden Globe nominations including the current one; he won once for The Prince of Tides.
