On our special Rewind  Episode of the Golden Globes Around the World podcast series, we thought it would be a good time to revisit our December 2020 podcast with Chris Evans, who at that time was promoting his limited series Defending Jacob, co-starring Michelle Dockery.

2022 has been another busy year for the star. As well as taking over the voice of the beloved toy Buzz Lightyear from Tim Allen. in the animated film, Lightyear, Chris also starred alongside Ryan Gosling in the blockbuster Netflix film, The Gray Man. As well as recently confirming he’ll return for Captain America 4 in 2024, Chris will also appear later this year in two films: Ghosted, with Ana de Armas, and Pain Hustlers, with Emily Blunt.

Chris was refreshingly open and honest as he spoke to French HFPA member, Henry Arnaud, about his move to L.A. and staying and partying with other young actors also staying at the long-term Oakwood Apartments. He also talked about the price of stardom and how his experience on The Fantastic Four, which he loved, still made him hesitant about taking on Captain America.
