Jeremy Renner, Golden Globe nominee as Best Supporting Actor for “The Town”, said to HFPA journalists about his director: “Ben Affleck is a man who is without ego, as smart and as charming as they come. He made me want to be the best I could be for his movie and he gave me every resource I needed to do the job. I mean, he’s an amazing dude, and it’s nice to come away with a couple of friends when you work on a job.”
