Congratulations to Nick Goepper from the United States Olympic Team who took home a Bronze medal in the inaugural men’s slopestyle skiing event. Along with teammates Joss Christensen and Gus Kenworthy (the same guy who has been saving puppies in Sochi), they completed a clean sweep for the U.S.; the third time that this country has ever swept a medal stand at the Winter Olympics.
Nick is no stranger to award ceremonies, as he was one of 40 past and present Olympians to have attended the recent Golden Globes. Here the Indiana native got to meet and greet such stars as Julia Roberts, Leonardo Di Caprio, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lawrence and Mike Tyson. Not a bad way to start your 19th year.
