Voter Applications for 84th Annual Golden Globes Now OPEN

The application portal for new voters for the 84th Annual Golden Globes is now OPEN. The deadline to apply is no later than 6:00 PM PST, Friday, March 16, 2026. Applications submitted after that deadline will not be considered.

To be eligible for consideration as a Golden Globes voter, you must be an entertainment journalist working for an internationally based media outlet. You may be based either inside the U.S. or internationally. To verify your journalistic work, you must submit at least five (5) examples of your published or aired work within the 12-month period from February 2025 to February 2026. Work appearing on personal blogs, self-published websites, personal podcasts/YouTube channels or social media platforms does not qualify.

Journalistic work must be original and not include interviews conducted with the journalist as the source or guest. Applicants are encouraged to submit work examples that demonstrate the breadth, scope and depth of their experience and work.

You will be notified if you have been provisionally accepted to serve as a voter for the 84th Annual Golden Globes. If you have been provisionally accepted, you will be required to review, complete and sign copies of certain Golden Globes policies, including the Golden Globes Code of Conduct and the Golden Globes Conflict of Interest Policy/ Acknowledgment and Disclosure Form, which will be reviewed by an independent law firm to determine whether you can serve as an impartial voter.
