Comic-Con isn’t just for geeks and badge-holders. Every July for almost one week (not counting the two-year hiatus due to the pandemic) the entire city of San Diego (especially the Gaslamp Quarter) celebrates pop culture. Hungry & thirsty but wearing a costume? No problem! The Witcher (and anyone else cosplaying) is welcome to wine and dine at any San Diego tavern. ‘Tis the season where mere mortals (aka non-costumed locals and visitors) can encounter classic characters from the Marvel (Spider-Man), DC  (Batman), and Star Wars (C-3PO) universes, but also the Grinch and even Santa Claus!
