"Philanthropy is an integral part of the HFPA's mission. We strongly believe in supporting the film and television community with grants scholarships and fellowships. To this end the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Charitable Trust was established to provide financial support for educational and cultural non-profit organizations whose primary focus is the entertainment industry. In the past 25 years, the HFPA Trust has bestowed more than $37.5 million in fellowships and grants to film schools, film preservation and charitable organizations"
