One Battle After Another

Paul Thomas Anderson wrote and directed WB’s One Battle After Another, a loose adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland. The story concerns a group of revolutionaries who reunite after a long time when their repressive enemy kidnaps the daughter of one of the members. It’s an action-thriller black comedy with political overtones and provides meaty roles for Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Teyana Taylor and Chase Infiniti.
