The Closing of the 75th Cannes Film Festival: the Palme d’Or Goes to Ruben Östlund’s “Triangle of Sadness”

After the big blow of Titane last year, all predictions were possible for the Palme d'Or this year. On the Croisette, tongues were starting to loosen between a young director who questions masculinity (Close), a thriller that confirms the South Korean wave (Decision to Leave), or the film by the Dardenne brothers which could obtain a historic treble with Tori and Lokita.

Vintage Cannes: 2012 – Ray Liotta Killing Them Softly

After many great performances -  his spectacular tour de force in Goodfellas, among many  - Ray Liotta finally landed on the Croisette, with the cast and director of Killing Them Softly, in competition in 2012: Brad Pitt, Richard Jenkins, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, James Gandolfini, Andrew Dominik. Three years later he would go back to Cannes, but this time for the MIPTV, the international market for TV and streamer content, with the miniseries Texas Rising.
