Beginning in 1952 when the Cecil B. DeMille Award was presented to its namesake visionary director, the Hollywood Golden Globes awarded its most prestigious prize 66 times.

“It has been more than sixty years since I came to Hollywood, first to learn how to make films and then to make them myself. I have now made thirty-five of them, some better than others, some prizewinners, other money losers.

Argentine screenwriter and director, Armando Bo, 41, makes his debut on the small screen with the Amazon Prime series, El Presidente, in which he explores the infamous 2015 FIFA corruption scandal involving soccer officials around the world who were found guilty of racketeering and mail fraud.  This acclaimed dramedy follows Sergio Jadue (Andres Parra), the head of a small Chilean football club, who becomes a key player in the scandal.
