Set in a beautiful valley in the Himalayas, the story unfolds as we see a young boy lead two cows to graze in the meadows. His mother walks a distance behind him, after a while the boy turns around to look for his mother but he cannot see her.

Produced by Boney Kapoor, who has 30 Bollywood films to his credit, and starring his wife Sridevi, a superstar of Hindi cinema at her 300th film, Mom is the feature film debut by Ravi Udayawar. Sridevi plays the titular mother, Devki, a biology teacher in high school.
