Alejandro Amenábar
Alejandro Amenábar (born in Santiago, Chile, March 31, 1972, raised in Madrid, Spain) directed movies in English and Spanish, such as Tesis (Thesis, 1996), Abre los ojos (Open Your Eyes, 1997) with Penelope Cruz, The Others (2001) with Nicole Kidman, Mar adentro (The Sea Inside, 2004) with Javier Bardem, Agora (2009) with Rachel Weisz, Regression (2015) with Ethan Hawke and Emma Watson. For television he wrote and directed the Spanish-American miniseries La Fortuna (2021) from the 2018 graphic novel El tesoro del Cisne Negro.
