America Ferrera (born in Los Angeles, California, April 18, 1984, to Honduran parents) made her feature film debut in Real Women Have Curves (2002), acted in movies like The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (2005) directed by Ken Kwapis from the 2001 novel by Ann Brashares, Barbie (2023) by Greta Gerwig, Dumb Money (2023) by Craig Gillespie. On television she starred in the series Ugly Betty (2006-2010) and Superstore (2015-2021).
