
Arthur Harari
Arthur Harari (born March 19, 1981, in Paris, France) is a French filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor. Harari made his feature directorial debut with Dark Inclusion (2016) (original title: Diamant Noir), a noir-inspired psychological crime drama about family betrayal and vengeance set in the world of the diamond trade. His Onoda: 10,000 Nights in the Jungle (2021) is an historical epic based on the incredible true story of Hiroo Onoda, a Japanese soldier who continued fighting WWII in the Philippine jungle for nearly 30 years after the war ended, believing it was still ongoing. The film premiered at Cannes in the Un Certain Regard section. He wrote, along with director Justine Triet, Anatomy of a Fall, which was a global hit.
