Bella Ramsey

Bella Ramsey (born Sept. 25, 2003 in Nottinghamshire, England) came to fame in HBO’s Game of Thrones and played the title role in the film Catherine, Called Birdy, directed by Lena Dunham. Ramsey also voiced Hilda in the animated series of the same name and appeared in the BBC One adaptation of His Dark Materials as Angelica. The series The Last of Us scored Golden Globe nominations for drama series, for Pedro Pascal and for Ramsey. Next, Ramsey will lead Sunny Dancer the sophomore feature from writer-director George Jaques and will  star with Carrie Coon, Lily James and Odessa Young in the mystery thriller Harmonia, written and directed by Guy Nattiv. Also upcoming is Channel 4’s thriller Maya, directed by Daisy Haggard.  In 2023, Ramsey was in the second series of Jimmy McGovern’s BBC series Time. Other film credits include the Marcel Marceau biopic Resistance; the Judy Garland biopic Judy; Two For Joy opposite Samantha Morton and Billie Piper, and Holmes and Watson with Will Ferrell. Beyond acting, Ramsey is an ambassador for Greenpeace and a patron of Bamboozle Theatre.
