Betty Hutton
Betty Hutton (born Elizabeth Thornburg, in Battle Creek, Michigan, February 26, 1921, died March 11, 2007), a dancer and a singer, starred in movies like The Miracle of Morgan’s Creek (1944) written and directed by Preston Sturges, Incendiary Blonde (1945) and The Perils of Pauline (1947) both directed by George Marshall, Annie Get Your Gun (1950) directed by George Sidney from the 1946 musical by Irving Berlin, Let’s Dance (1950) with Fred Astaire, The Greatest Show on Earth (1952) by Cecil B. deMille, Somebody Loves Me (1952), Spring Reunion (1957) with Dana Andrews. On television she headlined The Betty Hutton Show (1959-1960).
