Beyoncé Knowles
Beyoncé Knowles (born in Houston, Texas, on September 4, 1981) started her career as the lead singer of the group Destiny’s Child, released solo albums like Dangerously in Love (2003) and Lemonade (2016), Everything Is Love (2018) a joint album with her husband Jay Z Carter. She acted with Mekhi Phifer in the TV movie Carmen: A Hip Hopera (2001) directed by Robert Townsend, Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx in the movie musical Dreamgirls (2006) written and directed by Bill Condon, for which she co-wrote the original song “Listen.” She co-wrote the songs “Once in a Lifetime” for Cadillac Records (2008) where she played Etta James, “Spirit” for the animated The Lion King (2018), “Be Alive” for King Richard (2021).
