
Brady Corbet
Brady Corbet (born August 17, 1988, in Scottsdale, Arizona) began as an actor, making his screen debut in Catherine Hardwicke’s Thirteen (2003), about the complexities of teenage life. He gained further attention for his role in Gregg Araki’s Mysterious Skin (2004). Corbet has also appeared in films such as Michael Haneke’s Funny Games (2007), Lars von Trier’s Melancholia (2011), Noah Baumbach’s While We’re Young (2014), and Ruben Ostland’s Force Majeure (2014). In addition to acting, Corbet transitioned into directing and writing. His feature directorial debut, The Childhood of a Leader (2015), earned several awards at the Venice Film Festival. He followed up with Vox Lux (2018), starring Natalie Portman. He was a two-time Golden Globe nominee for The Brutalist (2024), winning as best director.
