Carlos Saura
Carlos Saura Atarés (born in Huesca, Spain, January 4, 1932, died February 10, 2023) directed critically acclaimed Spanish films such as Los golfos (1960), La Caza (1996), Peppermint Frappé (1967), La Prima Angélica (1973), Cría Cuervos (1977) with Geraldine Chaplin, Mama Cumple 100 Años (1979), Deprisa, Deprisa (1981). He helmed the Flamenco trilogy, Bodas de Sangre (1981), Carmen (1983) and El Amor Brujo (1986), Tango (1998). He directed Fados (2007) in Portuguese.
