Chloé Zhao (born Zhao Ting in Beijing, China, March 31, 1982) directed the movies Songs My Brothers Taught Me (2015), The Ryder (2017), Nomadland (2020) with Frances McDormand, based on the 2017 non-fiction book by Jessica Bruder Nomadland: Surviving America in the Twenty-First Century, Marvel’s Eternals (2021) with Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Angelina Jolie.
