Chris Rock
Christopher Rock (born in Andrews, South Carolina, February 7, 1965) acted in movies like New Jack City (1991) by Mario Van Peebles with Wesley Snipes, Nurse Betty (2000) by Neil LaBute with Renée Zellweger, Down to Earth (2001) by Chris and Paul Weisz, Bad Company (2002) by Joel Schumacher with Anthony Hopkins, The Longest Yard (2005) and Grown Ups (2010) with Adam Sandler, Dolemite Is My Name (2019) with Eddie Murphy, Amsterdam (2022) written and directed by David O. Russell. He wrote, directed and starred in Head of State (2003), I Think I Love My Wife (2007), Top Five (2014). He produced and narrated the documentary Good Hair (2009). Rock acted in Rustin (2023) with Colman Domingo.
On television Rock was a regular on Saturday Night Live (1990-1993), wrote and performed five comedy specials, Big Ass Jokes (1994), Bring the Pain (1996), Bigger & Blacker (1999), Never Scared (2004), Kill the Messenger (2008), Tamborine (2018), hosted The Chris Rock Show (1997-2000), created the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris (2005-2009), acted in the fourth season of Fargo (2020). He wrote and performed the comedy special Chris Rock: Selective Outrage (2023).
