Hannah Dakota Fanning (born Feb. 23, 1994 in Conyers, Georgia) started acting as a child in I Am Sam (2001) with Sean Penn, Uptown Girls (2003) with Brittany Murphy, Man on Fire (2004) by Tony Scott with Denzel Washington, War of the Worlds (2005) by Steven Spielberg with Tom Cruise, Charlotte’s Web (2006) with Julia Roberts, and The Secret Life of Bees (2008) with Queen Latifah. She played Jane Volturi in The Twilight Saga (2009–2012), acted in The Runaways (2010) with Kristen Stewart, Effie Gray (2014) by Emma Thompson, American Pastoral (2016) by Ewan McGregor, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019) by Quentin Tarantino.

On television Fanning starred in The Alienist (2018), played Susan Ford in The First Lady (2022), acted in The Perfect Couple (2024), and Ripley (2024), earning a Golden Globe nomination for her work in the last named.
