Darren Star

Darren Star (born July 25, 1961, in Potomac, Maryland) is a prolific writer-producer-director who created three TV series that became cultural touchstones: Beverly Hills 90210 (1990-2000), Sex and the City (1998-2004) and Emily in Paris. He also created the hit shows Melrose Place and Younger, among other shows.
