Donald O’Connor
Donald O’Connor (born in Chicago, Illinois, August 28, 1925, died September 27, 2003) started performing in Vaudeville, acted and danced in several movies like Sing You Sinners (1938) with Bing Crosby and Fred MacMurray, Million Dollar Legs (1939) with Betty Grable, Top Man (1943), Something in the Wind (1947), Francis (1950), before co-starring with Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds in Singin’ in the Rain (1952) by Stanley Donen. He acted in I Love Melvin (1952) with Debbie Reynolds, Call Me Madam (1953) and There’s No Business Like Show Business (1954) with Ethel Merman, Anything Goes (1956) with Bing Crosby, The Buster Keaton Story (1957), That Funny Feeling (1965) with Sandra Dee and Bobby Darin. He appeared in movies like Ragtime (1981) by Milos Forman, Toys (1992) by Barry Levinson.
