Ebon Moss–Bachrach

Ebon Moss-Bachrach’s performance as “Richie Jerimovich” on FX’s The Bear has earned him an Emmy® Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, a Critics Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, a Golden Globe® nomination for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television, a SAG Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series and an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Performance in a New Scripted Series.

An accomplished stage and screen actor, other notable performances include his work on Hulu’s The Dropout, Tony Gilroy’s Andor and his creation of the unforgettable “Desi Harperin” in HBO’s Emmy Award-winning Girls. Additional turns in TV include impressive work as a young John Quincy Adams in HBO’s John Adams, a fledgling lawyer opposite Glenn Close and Rose Byrne in FX’s Damages and a charming blue-collar dad in AMC’s supernatural horror NOS4A2. His film resumé includes roles in No Hard Feelings, The Royal Tenenbaums, Mona Lisa Smile, The Lake House and a striking and hilarious turn as Greta Gerwig’s one night stand in the indie feature Lola Versus. This year, he will be starring in Searchlight’s upcoming thriller (working title Dust) alongside Sarah Paulson. He has been announced to play “Ben Grimm, The Thing” in Marvel’s Matt Shakman-helmed The Fantastic Four for summer 2025.

Moss-Bachrach lives in New York City with his partner, photographer and visual artist Yelena Yemchuk, and their two daughters.
