Edmund Gwenn
Edmund Gwenn (born Edmund Kellaway in London, England, September 26, 1877, died September 6, 1959), a stage actor on London’s West End and New York’s Broadway, acted in movies like The Good Companions (1933) with John Gielgud, Sylvia Scarlett (1935) by George Cukor with Katharine Hepburn, Pride and Prejudice (1940) from the 1813 novel by Jane Austen, with Greer Garson and Laurence Olivier, Of Human Bondage (1946) with Paul Henreid. He played Santa Claus in Miracle on 34th Street (1947), acted in Mister 880 (1950) with Burt Lancaster, Them! (1954), The Trouble with Harry (1955) by Alfred Hitchcock.
