Gary Sinise
Gary Sinise (born in Blue Island, Illinois, March 17, 1955) acted and directed on stage at the Steppenwolf Theater Company. He directed the movies Miles from Home (1988) starring Richard Gere, Of Mice and Man (1992) from the 1937 novel by John Steinbeck, co-starring with John Malkovich. He acted with Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump (1994) directed by Robert Zemeckis, Apollo 13 (1995) directed by Ron Howard, and The Green Mile (1999) directed by Frank Darabont. He acted with Mel Gibson in Ransom (1996) by Ron Howard, with Nicolas Cage in Snake Eyes (1998) by Brian De Palma, with Ben Affleck in Reindeer Games (2000) by John Frankenheimer. Sinise played the title role in the television movies Truman (1995) and George Wallace (1997), acted in the TV series CSI: NY (2004-2013), Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders (2016-2017), 13 Reasons Why (2020).
