Gilbert Roland
Gilbert Roland (born Luis Antonio de Alonso in Juárez, Mexico, December 11, 1905, died May 15, 1994) moved to Hollywood and starred in silent films like The Plastic Age (1925) with Clara Bow, Camille (1926) and The Dove (1927) with Norma Talmadge. He acted in movies like Our Betters (1933) by George Cukor and After Tonight (1933) both with future wife Constance Bennett, She Done Him Wrong (1933) starring Mae West, We Were Strangers (1949) directed by John Huston, The Furies (1950) by Anthony Mann with Barbara Stanwyck, The Bad and the Beautiful (1952) by Vincent Minnelli Kirk Douglas, Thunder Bay (1953) by Anthony Mann with James Stewart, Cheyenne Autumn (1964) by John Ford.
