Jack Benny

Jack Benny (born Feb. 19, 1894, as Benjamin Kubelsky in Waukegan, Ill.; died Dec. 26, 1974) was a vaudeville star who transitioned into radio and films, such as To Be Or Not To Be, 1942). He successfully took his self-titled radio show into a TV series. He won a Golden Globe for Television Achievement at the 1958 ceremony.
