Jack Fincher

Jack Fincher (December 6, 1930–April 10, 2003) was a journalist and screenwriter. He wrote for various magazines and periodicals, and held many positions, including being San Francisco bureau chief of Life magazine. Years after Fincher’s death, his son, filmmaker David Fincher, resurrected his script about Herman Mankiewicz, which focused on the creation of the Citizen Kane script. Jack Fincher was Golden Globes nominated for the screenplay of Mank (2020), 17 years after his death.
