Jacques Audiard
Jacques Audiard (born April 30, 1952, in Paris) received his first three Golden Globe nominations — as scripter, director and co-songwriter — for Emilia Perez (2024). The film earned a record 10 Globe nominations, including best film not in the English language.
Audiard’s films Un Prophète (2009) and De rouille et d’os (2012) were also Globes-nominated as best film not in the English language, though the director is not included in those nominations.
His other films include De battre mon cœur s’est arrêté (2005); Dheepan, which won the Palme d’Or at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival; The Sisters Brothers, for which he won the Silver Lion for direction at the Venice Film Festival; and Les Olympiades.
