Katy Jurado
María Cristina Jurado García (born in Mexico City, Mexico, January 16, 1924, died July 5, 2002) acted in several Mexican movies, including The Brute (1953) directed by Luis Buñuel. She was nominated for the special award of Most Promising Newcomer and won supporting actress at the 1953 Golden Globes for her performance in High Noon (1952) directed by Fred Zinneman, starring Gary Cooper. She acted in Arrowhead (1953) with Charlton Heston, Broken Lance (1954) by Edward Dmytryk with Spencer Tracy, The Racers (1955) with Kirk Douglas, Trial (1955) with Glenn Ford, Trapeze (1956) with Burt Lancaster and Tony Curtis, Man from Del Rio (1956) with Anthony Quinn, One-Eyed Jacks (1961) directed by and starring Marlon Brando, The Bridge in the Jungle (1971) with John Huston, Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (1973) by Sam Peckinpah, the Mexican movie Fe, Esperanza y Caridad (1974), Under the Volcano (1984) directed by John Huston.
