Keith Carradine
Keith Carradine (born in San Mateo, California, August 8, 1949), son of actor John Carradine, half-brother of David Carradine, acted in the movies directed by Robert Altman Thieves Like Us (1974) with Shelly Duvall and Nashville (1975) for which he wrote and performed the original song “I’m Easy.” He acted in Welcome to L.A. (1976) directed by Alan Rudolph, The Duellists (1977) by Ridley Scott, Pretty Baby (1978) by Louis Malle, The Long Riders (1980) and Southern Comfort (1981) by Walter Hill. He played Buffalo Bill Cody in Wild Bill (1995) written and directed by Walter Hill with Jeff Bridges as Wild Bill Hicock, acted in Ain’t Them Bodies Saints (2013) by David Lowery, The Power of the Dog (2021) written and directed by Jane Campion. On television he played roles like Wild Bill Hicock in the western series Deadwood (2004), President Conrad Dalton in Madame Secretary (2014-2019).
