Linda Blair
Linda Blair (born in St. Louis, Missouri, January 22, 1959) was nominated for a special award as Most Promising Newcomer in a Motion Picture and won as Best Supporting Actress at the 1974 Golden Globes for The Exorcist (1973) directed by William Friedkin from a screenplay by William Peter Blatty based on his 1971 novel. She starred in the TV movies Born Innocent (1974), Sarah T. – Portrait of a Teenage Alcoholic (1975), Sweet Hostage (1975) with Martin Sheen, Victory at Entebbe (1976), Stranger in Our House (1978) by Wes Craven, and in theatrical features like Roller Boogie (1979), Hell Night (1981), Savage Streets (1984).
