Paul Mescal

Paul Mescal (born February 2, 1996 in Maynooth, Ireland) BBC-Hulu romantic series Normal People (2020). Subsequent film appearances include Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Lost Daughter (2022), Aftersun (2022), Andrew Haigh’s All of Us Strangers (2023) with Andrew Scott, and Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II (2024). He plays young William Shakespeare in Hamnet (2025). His many onstage appearances include playing Stanley Kowalski in a 2022 West End production of A Streetcar Named Desire.
