
Peter Ramsey
Peter Ramsey (born December 23, 1962, in Los Angeles) is a director, storyboard artist, and producer. He became the first Black to direct a major-studio animated feature. Ramsey began as a storyboard artist on live-action films such as Independence Day (1996), Fight Club (1999) and Minority Report (2002). He transitioned to animation and made his directorial debut with Rise of the Guardians (2012). In 2018, Ramsey co-directed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, with a unique visual style.
