Robbie Williams

Robbie Williams (born February 13, 1974, in Stoke-on-Trent, England) has sold more than 80 million records worldwide; he has won more BRIT Awards than any other artist in history and is the best-selling British solo artist of all time. His chalked up a dozen #1 U.K. albums, and holds the record for selling the most tickets (1.6 million) in one day. Williams rose to fame in the early 1990s as a member of the boy band Take That, one of the most successful bands in U.K. history. Williams embarked on a solo career in 1995. His debut solo album was “Life Thru a Lens” (1997) and subsequent albums include “I’ve Been Expecting You” (1998),  “Sing When You’re Winning” (2000), “Escapology” (2002), and “Intensive Care” (2005), featuring hits like “Rock DJ,” “Feel,” and “Let Me Entertain You.” Williams is known for his electrifying live performances, including multiple BRIT Awards. In addition to his music career, Robbie has explored acting and television projects, such as a cameo in Irwin Winkler’s 2004 Cole Porter biopic It’s De-Lovely. In 2024, his voice was heard in his own biopic, Better Man, while visually, he is represented by a CGI monkey, a gamble by director Michael Gracey that pays off.
