Robert Wagner
Robert Wagner (born in Detroit, Michigan, February 10, 1930) was nominated to a Golden Globe as Most Promising Newcomer for Stars and Stripes Forever (1952). He acted in movies like With a Song in My Heart (1952) starring Susan Hayworth, Titanic (1953) with Barbara Stanwyck, the Western Broken Lance (1954) by Edward Dmytryk with Spencer Tracy, he played leading roles in the noir A Kiss Before Dying (1956), the Western The True Story of Jesse James (1957) by Nicholas Ray, The Hunters (1958) with Robert Mitchum, In Love and War (1958), The War Lover (1962) with Steve McQueen. He played supporting roles in The Pink Panther (1963) by Blake Edwards with Peter Sellers, Harper (1966) with Paul Newman, disaster movie The Towering Inferno (1974). Wagner starred in the television series It Takes a Thief (1968-1970) with Fred Astaire, Switch (1975-1978) with Eddie Albert, Hart to Hart (1979-1984) with Stephanie Powers, the TV movie Love Among Thieves (1987) with Audrey Hepburn, the miniseries Windmills of the Gods (1988) with Jaclyn Smith. He was married to Natalie Wood twice (1957-1962, 1972-1981), to Jill St. John since 1990.
