He also worked as an executive at various studios, including 20th Century Fox and Paramount Pictures. Among the films he has produced or executive produced are Sister Act (1992), The Firm (1993), Clueless (1995), The Truman Show (1998), The Hours (2002), The Queen (2006), No Country for Old Men (2007), There Will Be Blood (2007), The Social Network (2010), Captain Phillips (2013), The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), Fences (2016), and 22 July (2018).
