Walter Stacy Keach Jr. (born in Savannah, Georgia, June 2, 1941) acted in movies like Fat City (1972) by John Huston, Up in Smoke (1978) with Cheech and Chong, The Ninth Configuration (1980) written and directed by William Peter Blatty, The Long Riders (1980) by Walter Hill with his brother James Keach as western outlaws Frank and Jessie James, That Championship Season (1982) with Robert Mitchum, Escape from L.A. (1996) by John Carpenter with Kurt Russell, American History X (1998) with Edward Norton, W. (2008) by Oliver Stone with Josh Brolin as George Bush, The Bourne Legacy (2012) with Jeremy Renner, Nebraska (2013) by Alexander Payne with Bruce Dern. On television Keach played the famous detective in the series Mickey Spillane’s Mike Hammer (1984-1987), the writer Ernest Hemingway in the TV movie Hemingway (1988).
