The Best of Cannes: Hair, Hats and Flowers

There were big trends in Cannes. Hair close to the skull with controlled cascades down the back; braids and adornments were noticeable, too. Hats appeared on the red carpet… at night. Fake flowers bloomed in hair and on clothing. The midriff has been exposed for several months and is here to stay, as is the mini. Shorts, dressed up or with extreme edge, became an option for the evening gala premieres and sunglasses in every form were embraced. Fabric was lush and flowing.
