So much for the early theme of capes – before they could solidify as a trend they disappeared. Today it poured at Cannes. The wind howled. There was thunder and lightning. If ever there was a time for a cape, today was it, and none were in sight. Instead designer features associated with femininity, rightly or wrongly, were everywhere.
