How do you take costumes avid fans know intimately and update them? That was the challenge for costume designer Michael Wilkinson. Having created the clothing for 300, American Hustle and Man of Steel, the Academy Award nominee was up to the task. In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Ben Affleck steps into Batman’s boots, Gal Gadot is introduced as Wonder Woman, and Henry Cavill reprises his role as Superman.
