Festivals

Once again, the traditional party thrown by the HFPA and InStyle at the Toronto International Film Festival was a success. Back to its usual digs at the Windsor Arms Hotel the party gathered stars and filmmakers in a joyful celebration of talent – and friendship. The space was decorated by an overhead trellis from which dripped white orchids, set off by tiny golden lights. The thousand strong crowd, made up of movie stars, studio executives, festival movers and shakers and HFPA members mingled till the wee hours, celebrating the performances and movies of an unusually strong festival.
