Festivals

CinemaCon, the annual NATO convention of theater owners, took place in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Palace on April 25-28, 2022. Movie studios presented trailers for their upcoming releases with the help of their stars and directors. Awards were given to established actors, Viola Davis (The Woman King), Dwayne Johnson (Black Adam), Robert De Niro (About My Father), Rachel Mc Adams, and to new faces, Abby Ryder Forston (Are You There God? It’s Me Margaret). In attendance were diverse directors: Jordan Peele (Nope), Olivia Wilde (Don’t Worry Darling), Baz Lurhmann (Elvis, starring Austin Butler), David Cronenberg (Crimes of the Future), and popular stars, such as Keanu Reeves (John Wick 4).
