Re-Imagining the 1950s – the Style of “Wonder Wheel”

Set in the late 1950s the wardrobe of Wonder Wheel is lush with clothes that show up the feminine form fantastically without being blatant. The clothing is a palette of warm colors on Kate Winslet that emphasize the waist. The men wear undervests while Juno Temple is innocent seduction. Recently Woody Allen has been using light to emphasize time, place and emotion. In Wonder Wheel the entire wardrobe is a character reflecting the ambiance of the scenes.
