Sundance’s Women’s March Exceeds Expectations, Sets the Tone for the Festival
A snowstorm arrived, as predicted. Temperatures dipped into the 20s. Organizers expected at most 5,000 people, and, around 9 AM, when marchers began to gather, there were only 2,000. At the end of the day, authorities in Park City estimate that over 8,000 people marched up Main Street, under wind, sleet and snow – and, according to a police office, “there was no trouble and everything was awesome”.
