Venice 2016, Day 5: Stairway to Heaven (With Duckies. And Boats.)
All festivals are, by their own nature, a perfect environment for promotion. The most spectacular feats of publicity are usually reserved for Venice’s younger cousin, Cannes, but Lido & Lagoon have their own particular dose of look-at-me-strategies. In sync with the festival’s casually elegant atmosphere, most promotional activities are of a smaller scale, more focused on good food and personal interactions than publicity stunts. But then someone bought a considerable amount of rubber duckies… Our gallery is all about what they were doing in the Lido and a how stars adapt to the city’s main mode of transportation.
