Sardar Udham is an Indian biographical historical drama based on the life of Indian freedom fighter Udham Singh, who assassinated Punjab’s former Lieutenant-Governor Michael O’Dwyer in London in revenge for the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar, India. In 1919, Udham was a young adult working in a textile mill near Amritsar.

France de Meurs is a star reporter and anchor for a top news channel. In a way, she is a cross between Christiane Amanpour and Marie Colvin, only not as honest and not as tragic, at least at the beginning.

This 85-minute movie is the story of a teenage Ukrainian gymnast en route to the Olympics who is forced to leave her native country because of political unrest.
