Foreign Language Nominees Talk Globes

Like every year, on the eve of the Golden Globes, the nominated directors in the Foreign Language category convened at the historic Egyptian Theater in Hollywood for the annual Symposium hosted by the HFPA and the American Cinematheque. Just before the proceedings, we caught up with three of the auteurs: Pedro Almodóvar (Pain and Glory), Céline Sciamma (Portrait of a Lady on Fire) and ), Ladj Ly (Les Misérables) and asked them of the significance of comparing notes with their fellow Globes nominees.
